Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle development of cloud-native applications using microservices architecture
- Mentor 3+ engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance
- Design and implement RESTful APIs with AWS Lambda and DynamoDB
- Optimize system performance using Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct security audits and implement best practices for data protection
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in object-oriented programming (Java, Python, or C#)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) with serverless architectures
- Proven track record of building scalable, high-traffic applications
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and containerization (Docker)
- Excellent problem-solving skills with data structures and algorithms
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design and implementation
