Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL and DynamoDB
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and Terraform
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and pair programming
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Implement security best practices including OAuth2 and encryption protocols
- Drive code quality through unit/integration testing and SonarQube
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years building production-grade distributed systems
- Expertise in JVM languages (Java/Kotlin) and cloud platforms
- Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and OOP principles
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Proven track record of delivering projects in agile environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and technical leadership abilities
