Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Lead code reviews and architectural decisions for cloud-native applications on AWS
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through pair programming and technical guidance
- Optimize database performance using PostgreSQL and Redis
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker for automated deployments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with industry trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expert proficiency in Java, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
