Responsibilities
- Architect and implement RESTful APIs using Java/Spring Boot and Node.js
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS (ECS, Lambda, RDS) for 99.99% uptime
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and Terraform
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Conduct thorough testing (unit, integration, load) and incident response
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience building production-grade Java or Node.js applications
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong background in microservices architecture and event-driven design
- Proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and caching strategies (Redis)
- Experience with agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
