Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Go and Python in AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on CI/CD best practices
- Optimize database performance for high-volume transactional systems
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement security protocols and compliance frameworks for financial data
- Conduct A/B tests on algorithmic trading features and analyze performance metrics
- Contribute to open-source sustainability initiatives within our tech ecosystem
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with cloud-native architectures
- Expertise in distributed systems, message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and container orchestration
- Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
- Proficiency in Go and Python with experience in TDD/BDD methodologies
- CI/CD pipeline experience using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Familiarity with fintech regulations (PCI-DSS, SOX) is highly desirable
