Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using AWS/GCP and Kubernetes
- Lead full-stack development of secure APIs and responsive front-ends with React/Node.js
- Optimize system performance and implement CI/CD pipelines for DevOps excellence
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous code reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with federal security standards (NIST, FedRAMP)
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and cloud architectures
- Strong proficiency with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Demonstrated ability to deliver enterprise-grade applications
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one (required for government projects)
