Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust, scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to uphold quality standards
- Optimize system performance through database tuning and caching strategies
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL solutions
