Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Optimize application performance using Redis, Kafka, and containerization technologies
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement robust security protocols and compliance standards across all applications
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expert proficiency in Java, Python, and modern JavaScript frameworks
- AWS certification or demonstrable cloud architecture experience
- Strong background in RESTful API development and database design (SQL/NoSQL)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA project management
- Proven track record of delivering scalable, production-ready applications
