Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle development of microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes
- Optimize high-throughput transaction systems handling 10K+ requests/second
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct comprehensive code reviews
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and AWS
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
- Drive architectural decisions and technical debt remediation
- Ensure 99.99% system uptime through rigorous testing and monitoring
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Scala
- Expertise in distributed systems, messaging queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, gRPC, and event-driven architecture
- Proven track record of building high-availability financial systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA
