Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-scale backend services and microservices using Java and Python.
- Lead architecture reviews and code reviews to ensure best practices and security standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA) to define feature requirements and technical specifications.
- Optimize application performance, latency, and throughput to handle peak loads.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct technical training sessions.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience in a scalable environment.
- Strong proficiency in Java (or equivalent) and familiarity with Python or Go.
- Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS or GCP.
- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions (MongoDB).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to write clean, maintainable code.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
