Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead cloud infrastructure modernization on AWS with Terraform
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and design reviews
- Optimize system performance using distributed tracing and profiling tools
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical publications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years building production-grade distributed systems
- Expertise in Go, Python, and cloud-native architectures
- Proficiency with event-driven patterns and message queues
- Strong background in SRE principles and observability tools
- Experience leading agile development with JIRA/Confluence
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design solutions
