Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end security protocols for equity options trading systems
- Lead incident response for financial market cyber threats with SLA-driven urgency
- Conduct penetration testing on derivative platforms using industry-standard tools
- Collaborate with trading desks to develop security-aware trading workflows
- Monitor dark web and threat intelligence sources for financial sector vulnerabilities
- Author compliance documentation for SEC/FINRA cybersecurity regulations
- Train traders and analysts on security best practices for options trading
Qualifications
- 5+ years cybersecurity experience with financial systems or trading platforms
- Certification in CISSP, CISM, or equivalent financial security accreditation
- Expert knowledge of equity options, derivatives, and market microstructure
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and threat hunting techniques
- Experience with cloud security architecture (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks (SOX, PCI-DSS, GDPR)
