Responsibilities
- Design and implement distributed systems using AWS/GCP services
- Lead code reviews and contribute to CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through pair programming and technical guidance
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Conduct performance testing and implement security best practices
- Present technical solutions to cross-functional stakeholders
- Drive architectural decisions for new platform features
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development (Java/Python/Go)
- Expertise with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and serverless architectures
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab CI) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with cloud-native monitoring (Prometheus/Grafana)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Contributions to open-source projects preferred
