Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using AWS/GCP infrastructure
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Jenkins and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with Product Managers to translate requirements into technical specs
- Conduct security audits and implement best practices (OWASP, SOC2)
- Present technical solutions to executive stakeholders
- Drive architectural decisions for new product features
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development (Java/Python/Go)
- Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/K8s)
- Strong background in RESTful API design and event-driven architecture
- Proven ability to lead technical projects from conception to deployment
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system implementations
