Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using AWS/GCP and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Lead full-cycle development from ideation to production deployment of REST APIs
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural planning sessions
- Optimize database performance and implement caching strategies for high-traffic applications
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
- Contribute to tech strategy decisions and architectural roadmap planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python/Go
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and serverless architectures
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and database design (SQL/NoSQL)
- Proficiency with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor team members
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
