Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using AWS/GCP and Kubernetes
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Optimize system performance and scalability for 10M+ user platforms
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements and DevOps automation
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Contribute to open-source projects and conduct tech talks
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA/GDPR security standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems development
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java with cloud-native patterns
- Expertise in Docker, Terraform, and infrastructure-as-code
- Strong background in event-driven architectures and messaging queues
- Experience with A/B testing frameworks and data analysis
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system designs
- Excellent written communication for remote collaboration
