Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Java/Spring Boot and AWS cloud services
- Lead code reviews and optimize CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with DoD standards
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Conduct performance testing and system optimization for high-traffic applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Python, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular)
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible)
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
