Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance distributed systems using Java/Spring Boot
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS) for 99.99% uptime
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and Docker
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Contribute to open-source projects and tech blog publications
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Kotlin
- Expertise in microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
- Strong AWS certification (Solutions Architect preferred)
- Proven track record mentoring engineering teams
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with event-driven systems using Kafka or RabbitMQ
