Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance microservices using Java/Spring Boot
- Lead cloud infrastructure optimization on AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS)
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and Docker
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Conduct rigorous testing and debugging to ensure 99.9% system uptime
- Stay current with emerging technologies through quarterly tech talks
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Kotlin
- Expertise in cloud architecture (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven systems
- Proven track record of leading full SDLC projects
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with fintech or high-throughput systems preferred
- Active AWS certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
