Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance RESTful APIs using Go and Python
- Architect AWS-based microservices with Kubernetes and Terraform
- Lead code reviews and pair programming sessions for team members
- Optimize database performance for PostgreSQL and Redis clusters
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Mentor junior engineers through tech talks and hands-on guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years building production-grade distributed systems
- Expertise in at least two modern programming languages (Go, Python, Java)
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization
- Strong background in test-driven development and agile methodologies
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor peers
