Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance backend services using Go, Python, and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment to AWS/GCP
- Architect solutions for 99.99% uptime and sub-50ms latency
- Partner with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Contribute to open-source projects and tech community initiatives
- Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Expertise in at least one modern programming language (Go, Python, Rust)
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Proven track record of shipping production-grade code
- Experience with event-driven architecture and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
