Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices for API development
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL) and caching strategies (Redis)
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and knowledge sharing
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Proven problem-solving skills with system design experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in agile teams
