Responsibilities
- Design and implement distributed systems using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and contribute to technical roadmap planning
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Drive DevOps automation using Terraform and Jenkins
- Collaborate with product teams on API-first architecture
- Present technical solutions to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in backend development
- Expertise in Go, Python, and distributed systems
- Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Proven track record of mentoring engineering teams
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Published open-source contributions preferred
