Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Go, Python, and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and technical roadmaps
- Optimize system performance and security protocols for enterprise-level applications
- mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging DevOps practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with 5+ years in software engineering
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong proficiency in at least two backend languages (Go, Python, Java, or Node.js)
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
- Proven track record of shipping production systems with high availability (>99.9%)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
