Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance backend services using Java/Spring Boot
- Lead API development and microservices architecture for financial systems
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Optimize database performance and implement caching strategies
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and DevOps practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Java development and Spring ecosystem
- Expertise in distributed systems, REST APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Strong background in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL
- Proven track record of shipping production code at scale
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
