Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot and cloud-native technologies
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices for security, performance, and maintainability
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural blueprints
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (8+ years)
- Expert proficiency in Java, Python, and JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular)
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Demonstrable skills in SQL/NoSQL databases and ORM frameworks
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience with Jira/Confluence
