Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation using Jenkins and Docker
- Contribute to open-source projects and present technical findings at team symposiums
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Expertise in Java, Python, and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Strong understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS)
- Experience with RESTful API design and GraphQL
- Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL) and caching strategies
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience with Jira
