Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance microservices using Go/Python/Kubernetes
- Lead API development for transaction processing systems with 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Optimize database queries and caching strategies for multi-tenant architecture
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architecture reviews
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Terraform
- Conduct security audits and implement OWASP best practices
- Drive technical debt reduction and system scalability initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Go/Python/Java
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and container orchestration
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, caching, and messaging queues
- Proven track record of owning production systems with high traffic volumes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with fintech/payment systems or high-availability applications
- Proficient in testing frameworks (Jest, PyTest) and TDD methodologies
