Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Mentor 3-5 junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to define technical specifications for SaaS platforms
- Implement security best practices including OAuth2, JWT, and OWASP compliance
- Analyze system performance using Datadog/New Relic and optimize bottlenecks
- Contribute to open-source projects and patent innovations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience building enterprise-grade Java applications
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) with Terraform/CloudFormation
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architectures
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Proven track record of shipping production systems with 99.9% uptime
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system design challenges
- Portfolio demonstrating complex projects with technical documentation
