Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using AWS and Kubernetes
- Mentor 3-5 junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Optimize system performance with load testing and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Lead architecture discussions for new payment processing features
- Implement security best practices for PCI-DSS compliance
- Contribute to open-source projects and tech blog publications
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Java/Spring Boot
- Expertise in distributed systems and event-driven architectures
- Strong AWS certification (Solutions Architect Professional preferred)
- Proven track record of mentoring engineering teams
- Experience with fintech or high-transaction systems
- Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation
