Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using Java/Spring Boot
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices across the engineering team
- Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline automation and DevOps initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java and Spring
- Expertise in RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in distributed systems
- Proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL solutions
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence
