Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust software solutions using Java, Python, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure)
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers while adhering to Agile methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and system architecture
- Optimize system performance and security posture for DoD-compliant applications
- Develop CI/CD pipelines and automation tools to enhance development workflows
- Contribute to technical documentation and best practices across the organization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in object-oriented software development with Java and Python
- Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and microservices architecture
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one within 6 months
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with DoD compliance standards (NIST, RMF) highly preferred
- Proficient in version control systems (Git) and collaborative development tools
