Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Kubernetes
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS) for 99.99% uptime
- Lead CI/CD pipeline automation with Jenkins and Terraform
- Mentor 3+ junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement security best practices (OAuth2, JWT, encryption)
- Collaborate with product teams to define technical roadmaps
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience building production-grade Java applications
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and TDD principles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with fintech/healthcare compliance (HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Git workflow expertise and open-source contributions preferred
