Responsibilities
- Lead development of high-availability microservices using Java/Kubernetes
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through pair programming and design sessions
- Optimize system performance and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with UX designers to translate requirements into technical specs
- Contribute to open-source projects and patent-pending innovations
- Drive agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with JVM languages (Java preferred)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong background in REST API design and event-driven architecture
- Experience with test-driven development and code quality metrics
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design projects
