Responsibilities
- Architect scalable backend systems using Node.js and Python microservices
- Lead development of cloud-native applications on AWS infrastructure
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Optimize database performance for high-traffic maritime logistics platforms
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience with JavaScript/Python
- Expertise in cloud architecture (AWS/GCP) and containerization technologies
- Strong background in relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases
- Proven experience with CI/CD methodologies and DevOps practices
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design and optimization
- Experience mentoring engineering teams and fostering collaboration
- Knowledge of maritime logistics or supply chain systems preferred
