Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Go and AWS Lambda
- Lead code reviews and enforce CI/CD best practices
- Optimize database performance for real-time analytics pipelines
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through pair programming
- Contribute to open-source projects within our GitHub organization
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Go/Python
- Expertise in AWS services (DynamoDB, S3, ECS)
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes and Terraform
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system architectures
- Experience with event-driven programming
