Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using AWS and Kubernetes
- Lead API development with Node.js and Python for high-traffic healthcare applications
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and architectural discussions
- Optimize system performance using Redis, GraphQL, and caching strategies
- Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Terraform infrastructure-as-code
- Conduct security audits and compliance testing for HIPAA-regulated systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with JavaScript/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and database optimization
- Experience with agile methodologies and JIRA project management
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Healthcare tech industry experience highly preferred
