Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices for security and performance
- Optimize database queries and CI/CD pipelines for 99.99% uptime
- Mentor 3-5 junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications with product teams
- Implement automated testing strategies achieving 85%+ test coverage
- Contribute to open-source projects and present at tech meetups
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in enterprise Java development with Spring Cloud
- Expertise in distributed systems design and AWS/GCP services
- Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis)
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system design aptitude
- Collaborative mindset with experience in agile methodologies
