As a key member of our platform engineering group, you'll architect high-performance systems using microservices architecture while mentoring junior engineers. Our engineers solve complex problems in distributed systems, data pipelines, and security frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud-native services using AWS/GCP and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and contribute to CI/CD pipeline optimization
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and architecture discussions
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement robust security protocols and data encryption standards
- Optimize system performance through database tuning and caching strategies
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical publications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of production experience with Go, Python, or Java
- Expertise in distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Strong background in AWS/GCP infrastructure and Terraform
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker)
- Proven track record of shipping large-scale web applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and system design capabilities
- Active GitHub/GitLab contributor preferred
