Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance microservices using Java/Spring Boot and Node.js
- Lead code reviews and enforce best practices across distributed teams
- Optimize cloud deployments on AWS/GCP with CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor 3-5 junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications with agile methodologies
- Automate testing infrastructure to achieve 95%+ test coverage
- Collaborate with product teams to define technical roadmaps
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in production-level software development
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, or Go)
- Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues (RabbitMQ/Kafka)
- Proven ability to deliver projects in agile environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system design experience
