Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead code reviews and architectural decisions for high-throughput transaction systems
- Mentor 3-4 junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Optimize database performance for 99.99% uptime across distributed PostgreSQL clusters
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Terraform, and AWS services
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging fintech trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of production experience with distributed systems
- Expert proficiency in Go, Python, and cloud-native architectures
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, gRPC, and event-driven patterns
- Experience with blockchain protocols (Ethereum, Solana) or DeFi protocols
- Strong background in security best practices for financial applications
- Proven track record of shipping high-impact features at scale
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
