Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot deployed on AWS
- Lead code reviews and enforce CI/CD best practices with Jenkins/GitHub Actions
- Optimize database performance through PostgreSQL indexing and query tuning
- Develop RESTful APIs with OpenAPI specifications and integrate third-party services
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical documentation
- Conduct A/B tests and analyze metrics to drive product improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years professional development)
- Expertise in JVM languages (Java/Kotlin) with strong OOP fundamentals
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Experience with reactive programming (RxJava/Project Reactor)
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems design patterns
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience with JIRA/Confluence
- Passion for clean code and test-driven development
