Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using AWS/GCP infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and architectural discussions for core payment processing systems
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and technical workshops
- Optimize application performance using Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform
- Contribute to open-source projects and tech community initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Python/Java/Go
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and serverless architectures
- Strong background in distributed systems and database optimization
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Contributions to GitHub or published technical articles preferred
