Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using modern frameworks (Node.js, Python, React)
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers to uphold quality standards
- Optimize system performance through database tuning (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and caching strategies
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) for seamless deployments
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Ensure robust security practices and compliance with industry standards (SOC2, GDPR)
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technology roadmap planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with backend technologies
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one backend language (Python/Java)
- Proven track record of building RESTful APIs and event-driven systems
- Experience with Agile methodologies and test-driven development
