Role Overview
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting high-performance systems, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class software products. You will have the autonomy to choose the best technologies for the job and the opportunity to impact millions of users.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure software systems.
- Lead the architecture and implementation of complex features from conception to deployment.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and solve technical challenges.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of knowledge sharing within the engineering team.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize existing codebases for efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in a modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, or TypeScript).
- Strong proficiency in front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
- Proven track record of shipping high-quality software in a fast-paced agile environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for clean, maintainable code.
