Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Optimize system performance through database tuning (PostgreSQL/Redis)
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS and Jenkins
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
- Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture
- Proficient in testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code
