Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Go and Kubernetes
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for AWS deployments
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Drive SRE initiatives for 99.99% system uptime
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Conduct code reviews ensuring maintainability and security standards
- Participate in agile ceremonies with cross-functional squads
Qualifications
- 5+ years of production software engineering experience
- Expertise in distributed systems and cloud architecture (AWS/GCP)
- Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java with strong OOP fundamentals
- Experience with event-driven patterns and message queues
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Proven track record of shipping enterprise-grade features
- Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Strong communicator capable of simplifying complex technical concepts
