Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Lead the end-to-end development of scalable web applications using modern frameworks such as React, Node.js, or Python.
- Architecture: Design and implement efficient, secure, and maintainable software architectures that align with business requirements.
- Code Quality: Write clean, testable, and well-documented code; conduct thorough code reviews to ensure high standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define features and solve complex technical problems.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior developers, conducting code reviews and providing technical guidance to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Optimization: Optimize application performance, security, and scalability to handle high traffic loads.
- Testing: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks to ensure software reliability.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, Node.js, or a similar modern stack. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Databases: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB).
- Cloud: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Tools: Strong command of version control systems (Git) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
