Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices for real-time cargo tracking using AWS/Azure
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize database performance for 10M+ daily transactions
- Lead CI/CD pipeline improvements with Jenkins/GitHub Actions
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Conduct A/B tests on algorithmic efficiency improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Python/Java
- Expertise in distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Strong background in maritime or logistics tech preferred
- CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code expertise (Terraform)
- Ability to optimize algorithms for low-latency processing
