Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices architecture using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Optimize database performance and implement caching strategies (Redis, DynamoDB)
- Collaborate with Product and UX teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technology roadmap planning
- Automate testing and ensure 99.9% system availability through observability tools
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with Java and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong background in RESTful API design and microservices patterns
- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Jira/Confluence
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience mentoring technical teams and driving engineering culture
